Flexus DMPK
Save Time and Effort in Protein Precipitation
Development and implementation of high throughput techniques for sample preparation used for drug analysis is challenging. Several strategies exist for eliminating proteins commonly found in biological fluids such as plasma or serum, which would otherwise interfere with downstream applications and analyses via LC/MS/MS. One such method of sample preparation is protein precipitation via centrifugation. Whilst this method works well it is often considered time consuming and requires much manual intervention.
The Flexus DMPK pipetting station is pre-configured with a plate gripper and a built-in, high speed centrifuge. This allows for complete automation of the traditional protein precipitation method. A 96 well plate can be prepared in less than 15 minutes, including the addition of acetonitrile and centrifugation steps with no human intervention. You can directly transfer your manual methods to the Flexus DMPK pipetting station.
We have a special PDF brochure (490K) detailing the centrifuge. To download a copy, please click here.
